The Seattle I Remember
This series honors beloved old Seattle spots that are no longer around, including The Globe Cafe, Cafe Septieme, Hardwick’s, and so many more. I created these paintings with beeswax, oil paint, graphite, and salvaged materials–old maps, antique letters, personal scraps, and other found collage elements. The city changes rapidly and we are still here, finding ways to survive & thrive in spite of it all.

Mixed-Media Paintings
Paintings that honor struggle, resilience, hope, change, history, memory, & the experience of wandering through life noticing the little and big things that pull us apart and then bring us back together. Created with beeswax, oil paint, graphite, and salvaged materials such as old maps, sheet music, letters, personal scraps, and more.
