The title of this painting is "sticking it out, together." It is about honoring community and sticking together across the winding paths we’re taking in this rollercoaster of life.
This is an original mixed-media encaustic painting, made with beeswax, oil paint, graphite, and salvaged materials, including pieces of old sewing patterns and antique maps of Seattle.
The painting has a luminous quality and rich texture, as you can see layers of collage materials beneath many coats of delicious-smelling beeswax.
The painting is 4.5" wide x 8.5" tall, on a wooden panel with a wire across the back for easy hanging. It is signed, titled, and dated by me on the back. Made in 2025.
