I created this painting in 2025 using beeswax, oil paint, graphite, and salvaged materials: sewing patterns, pieces of old maps, and more.
The painting has a luminous quality and rich texture, as you can see layers of collage materials beneath many coats of delicious-smelling beeswax.
The painting is 4.5" wide x 8.5" tall, on a wooden panel with a wire across the back for easy hanging. The sides of the painting are exposed wood, lightly finished with linseed oil. It is signed, titled, and dated by me on the back.
