The original painting "Espresso Vivace Sidewalk Bar" is part of my series of mixed-media paintings, "The Seattle I Remember." Each painting in this series depicts a beloved old Seattle gathering spot.

The Espresso Vivace Sidewalk Bar was on Broadway from 1992-2023. It was a sweet place to wander up to for a cup of coffee while wandering around the hill, run into people, and sit around taking in the neighborhood. Vanishing Seattle wrote, “Inside the sidewalk bar’s side corridor is the Sacred Shrine of Caffeina, Goddess of the Waking Day - painted on a rock & commissioned by longtime barista & manager Brian Fairbrother, who passed away in 2011 after a bicycle accident.”

I created the original painting in 2023 with beeswax, oil paint, graphite, and salvaged materials: old maps, pieces of antique mail, and other found and salvaged collage elements. The original painting has sold.

This is a high-quality, professionally-printed Giclee print, professionally printed with pigmented inks on Somerset Velvet rag paper, which has a pleasing, matte finish. There is a ½” border around the image.
