The original painting "Melrose Building - Bauhaus Books & Coffee" is part of my series of mixed-media paintings, "The Seattle I Remember." Each painting in this series depicts a beloved old Seattle gathering spot. Bauhaus was a very loved and always busy coffee shop on Capitol Hill, right on the corner of Pine & Melrose. They closed their Capitol Hill location in 2013, and reopened in Ballard.
I created the original painting in 2016 with beeswax, oil paint, graphite, and salvaged materials: old maps, pieces of antique mail, and other found and salvaged collage elements. The original painting has sold.

This is a high-quality, professionally-printed Giclee print of an original painting, professionally printed with pigmented inks on Somerset Velvet rag paper, which has a pleasing, matte finish. There is a ½” border around the image, handwritten title in the lower left corner, and signature in the bottom right corner.
