This is an original painting titled "B&O Espresso." It is part of my series of mixed-media paintings, "The Capitol Hill I Remember." Each painting in this series depicts a beloved old Seattle establishment that’s no longer around. B&O Espresso was on Belmont Ave & E Olive Way from 1976-2011.
I created the original painting in 2017 with beeswax, oil paint, graphite, and salvaged materials: old maps, pieces of antique mail, and other found and salvaged collage elements.
The painting is 28.25" tall x 16" wide, on wood panel. It is unframed and ready to hang with a wire across the back. The sides are exposed unfinished wood. It is signed, dated, and titled on the back.
