This is a high-quality Giclee print of an original painting, professionally printed with pigmented inks on Somerset Velvet paper.
The original painting is titled "B&O Espresso" and is part of my series of mixed-media paintings, "The Capitol Hill I Remember." Each painting in this series depicts a beloved old Seattle establishment that’s no longer around. B&O Espresso opened in 1976 on Belmont Ave & E Olive Way. It was the first espresso cafe on Capitol Hill, and was was famous for its cakes and desserts. After 36 years, B&O closed in 2012 when its building was demolished to make way for a new six-story, mixed-use building.
I created the original painting in 2017 with beeswax, oil paint, graphite, and salvaged materials: old maps, pieces of antique book pages, and other found and salvaged collage elements.

8” x 10” - $30
11” x 14” - $40
