Zine Archive Publishing Project

The original painting is titled "Zine Archive Publishing Project (Z.A.P.P.)" and is part of my series of mixed-media paintings, "The Capitol Hill I Remember." Each painting in this series depicts a beloved old Capitol Hill establishment that has since been replaced by higher end businesses in this rapidly changing neighborhood. Capitol Hill is a neighborhood in Seattle that has been drastically impacted by gentrification. Z.A.P.P. was in the basement of the Richard Hugo House on 11th Ave. & E. Olive St.

The original painting is 22" x 17" x 3" . I created the original painting in 2017 using beeswax, oil paint, graphite, and salvaged materials: old maps, pieces of antique mail, sheet music, and other found and salvaged collage elements from my very cherished personal collection.

The original painting is currently available for sale for $550; please contact me if interested.

Available for purchase: 10x8 Print ($20) 14x11 Print ($30)
